Bio

Julia was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She is a practicing mixed-media artist and arts educator, and is currently teaching elementary and middle school art at Shady Hill School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Previously she has taught elementary and middle school art at Stephen Gaynor School, middle and high school art at The Churchill School and Center, and collegiate-level art to high school student at The New York State Summer School of the Arts. In 2010 she received her Bachelors of Fine Arts from Manhattanville College. In 2019, Julia received her Masters of Science in Art and Design Education From Pratt Institute, where she was awarded the Pratt Circle Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement, Pratt Institutes highest honor.
